Arctic

In 2010 and 2011 I participated in two campaigns in the High Arctic within the research project ANAPOLIS. The purpose of the project was to compare the ice-wedge polygons existing in Svalbard with those widespread in Mars’ surface. My role in the project was to analyze the sedimentological characteristics of the ice-wedge polygon terrain as well as to infer their development over the last millennia.

Since July 2017, I have also started working in NE Greenland on the reconstruction of glacial oscillations and climate variability based on lake sediment records over the last millennia.
